Research directions: Integrating scholars from the Business School, the College of Communication and Art Design, the School of Marxism, and the School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering, the research team is professionally complementary, interdisciplinary and resource-integrated. With a prime focus on the strategic decisions and related deployments of the CPC Shanghai Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government on the economic development based on Internet plus, we have been carrying out related research as well as decision-making-related  consultation.

Current projects: “Research on the Innovation Model of Professional Publishing Services Based on the Network Community”, a key laboratory project of integrative development of publishing supported by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television; “Research on the Direction and Roadmap of Building Highland of AI industry in Pudong District”, a decision-making consulting project of Shanghai Municipal Government; “Investigation of and Suggestion on the Integration of Industrial Design in the Construction of a Strong manufacturing and Network Power”, a key project of the cultural and creative industry development of Shanghai in 2018; and a number of provincial and ministerial research projects as well as enterprise-oriented research projects.

Eight general projects under the support of the National Social Science Fund of China, such as “A Statistical Study of China’s Haze Pollution Based on Big Data Correlation Analysis”, and “The Construction and Application Model of Publication Big Data in the Perspective of Data Assets”.

Five projects for young researchers, such as “The Relation between the Reconstruction of Mobile Opinion Field and the Flowing of Journalistic Career Network”

Six provincial or ministerial projects sponsored by provincial or ministerial key laboratory funds or exclusive funds for humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, such as “Research on the Platform Management and Algorithm Theory of Big Data Mining Service”, “Research on the Influencing Factors and Countermeasures for the Trading Strategy Selection of Cluster Enterprises in the  New Internet Era”, “Research on the Current Situation and Upgrading Strategies of College Students’ Network Rationality”, and so on.

Five decision-making consulting projects of Shanghai municipal government, such as “Research on Enhancing the Competitiveness of Internet Economy in Shanghai”, “Research on Family Pension Responsibility and Supporting Policies against the Background of Aging”, “Prolonged Research on the Pension Model of Shanghai”, “Research on the Difficulties of Countermeasures for the Endowment Insurance in Shanghai”, and so on.
