Announcement of English Original Works Collection Winners

From March 24, the English Original Works Collection Activity with the theme of “Go through hard times with concerted efforts” was carried out. The whole school actively participated in the activity, and converted their hopes and blessings into a series of works. All these works convey their wishes to join hands to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, contributing to the spiritual motivation for epidemic prevention and control.
As of April 20, a total of 29 original English works were collected, including 4 faculty works and 25 student works. The expert teachers and foreign language consultants from USST Compilation and Translation Studio were responsible for the scores and then contestants were awarded, among which one work was graded as the best one, 3 works got first prize, 6 works got second prize and ten works got third prize.
Ten works that were awarded the best prize, first prize and second prize are planned to be put in the headlines of the USST English website. In addition, a total of 20 works that were awarded the best prize, first prize, second prize and third prize are planned to be bound into a book named the Collection of Original Works on Anti-epidemic by Faculty and Students of USST.
