USST Holds an Event on Complex-system Smart Emergence Management

As a collaborative research platform for policy, industry, academia, research, and application, the School of Smart Emergency Management at USST has launched the innovative research on "smart emergency" to meet the emergency safety needs of megacity, creating the smart emergency science and technology innovation, talent cultivation, skill training base, and science popularization base of distinctive features.
On May 14th, the "Second Complex-system Smart Emergency Management" themed event, jointly organized by USST and China-Sco Institute of Economy and Trade, was held at the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Alleviation and Rescue Expo.
At the event, USST and Chino-Sco Institute of Economy and Trade signed a cooperation agreement, and the two schools will build a joint business school, Smart Emergency Research Institute, and high-level think tanks. After the signing ceremony, Sheng Chun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, and Zheng Shi, Dean of the China-Sco Institute of Economy and Trade, unveiled the plaque for the Smart Emergency Research Institute. Face the SCO and the "the Belt and Road", The two universities will rely on this research institute, to jointly build a country, jointly carry out smart emergency science and technology research, deepen the reform of smart emergency integration of industry and education, and build an international smart emergency experimental and industrial base.
