Fukuoka Institute of Technology Visited USST

On June 13, Ni Baorong, Vice President of Fukuoka Institute of Technology (FIT), and his delegation visited our university. Sheng Chun, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice president of USST, met with the guests, accompanied by relevant personnel from the Institute of Advanced Technology and the International Affairs Office, and the meeting was hosted by Xu Lin, deputy director of the International Affairs Office.
Sheng Chun, on behalf of USST, warmly welcomed Ni Baorong and his delegation, and introduced the university's historical lineage, talent cultivation, disciplinary characteristics and international exchanges. He talked about the long history of cooperation between USST and Japanese universities, which has been maintaining friendly humanistic and academic exchange relations. USST established the Japanese Cultural Exchange Center at the Hujiang International Culture Park in 2011, and more than 500 Japanese teachers and students have visited there since its establishment. It is hoped that in the future, the two universities will give full play to their respective advantages and carry out cooperation and exchanges in the areas of project declaration, scientific research cooperation, and mutual visits of teachers and students, so as to promote the high-quality development of internationalized education of the two universities.
Ni Baorong expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of USST, and introduced the faculties and departments of Fukuoka Institute of Technology, the characteristics of school running, and the overview of international exchanges. He introduced the faculties and departments of FIT and its international exchanges. He said that FIT has carried out inter-university cooperation with many universities in China, and he very much hoped to establish cooperation with USST, and welcomed the teachers and students of USST to visit FIT for exchanges and studies.
After the meeting, the FIT delegation visited Hujiang International Culture Park.
