The current total area of sports field in USST is 77272 square meters, among which indoor area amounts to 16376 square meters, including the Leisure Center and Old Stadium in Jungong Road Northern Campus, the aerobics room in Jungong Road Southern Campus, the indoor stadium in No.1100 Jungong Road Campus and the aerobics room in Fuxing Road Campus.
The Leisure Center in Jungong Road Northern Campus, completed and put into use in year 2010, covers an area of 11116 square meters, and boasts indoor tennis court, badminton court, basketball court and ping-pong court, with annual attendance over 260,000 person-time. Indoor basketball court, volleyball court, ping-pong room and gum are also set up in the Old Stadium. You can also use indoor badminton court, aerobics room in the indoor stadium in No.1100 Jungong Road. Ping-pong room and aerobics room are set in the Sports Hall.
USST authority manage these properties with a human-centered philosophy in order to maximally satisfy the need of USST students and faculty in carrying out sports activities. The Center will open for free 358 days a year, five and a half days a week to all USST students and faculty members. Saturday afternoons and Sundays are open to non-USST personnel.
