Projects from Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau:

A Study of building the cemeteries in Shanghai into platforms and public bases for the inheritance of excellent Chinese culture;

Research on the action plan of building the funeral parlors at Shanghai into the life and culture education bases and public bases;

Research on demand for cultivation of professionals for the modern funeral industry in Shanghai.

Research on the strategic construction of life and culture education base in Shanghai Seaside Cemetery.

Having numerous cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, Shanghai Funeral and Interment Service Center, and Shanghai Funeral Association, the team has been playing an active role in the research and policy-making of funeral management initiated by Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, providing consultation on funeral management for several funeral parlors and cemeteries. So far, the team has accomplished the compiling work of Funeral and Interment series (20 Volumes), Practice of Funeral and Interment series (30 Volumes). The research project A Study of the Normalization of Sea-Burial Operation by the team was ranked the first of the Top 10 by Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau in 2017.
