USST and CCT Group Signed A Cooperation Agreement

On the morning of April 21th, USST and China Communication Technology Co., Ltd (herein after referred to as CCT Group) signed the cooperation agreement. USST President Ding Xiaodong, Academician Zhuang Songlin from School of Optical-electrical and Computer Engineering and President Wu Guangsheng, Founder of CCT Group were present at the signing ceremony. On behalf of both sides, Zhang Xuedian, Standing Deputy Dean of OECE, and Luo Rui, CEO of CCT Group signed the agreement. Zhu Yiming, Deputy Dean of Terahertz Technology Innovation Research Institute presided over the ceremony.

Ding Xiaodong gave introductions on the remarkable achievements in the historical development of USST and high-level local university construction. He stressed that USST attached much importance to the building and development of terahertz technologiy team, and expected to make outstanding achievements through each other’s efforts. Wu Guangsheng was grateful to the school for the help and support that CCT Group gained from, and hoped to join their hands to promote the collaboration in industry segmentation of Terahertz products, striving for shaping an ethnical brand.
Since the beginning of last year, both sides promised to carry out a long-standing and stable cooperation relationship, advance the R & D of Tera-hertz technologies, strengthen the coordinated development between terahertz basic research and applied research, in hopes of producing an array of industry-university-research results in food safety testing, medicine ingredient analysis, biomedicine testing and non-destructive testing.
The signing of cooperation agreement provides them with a platform to establish a close relationship and widen their operation area. Both sides will share resources, complement advantages, underscore the R & D and the industrial development of terahertz products, enhance abilities of terahertz industrialization and product transfer, contributing to the promotion of terahertz technologies and  the construction of a high-level university.
