On December 6th, the Sino-British College, USST received Certificate of Membership from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) after rigorous review.
AACSB, a global nonprofit association, connects educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders. The AACSB Accreditation process includes Membership Application, Eligibility Application, Pre-Accreditation, Initial Accreditation and Maintenance of Accreditation.
It is a good start for SBC to be a member of AACSB Business Education Alliance. In order to promote USST as a high-level university and further improve the level of internationalization, SBC started to prepare for AACSB accreditation in March this year. With strong support of leadership of USST and SBC and unremitting efforts of academic teachers, SBC has carried out a lot of research and demonstration.
Shan Yanguang, Vice-Dean of SBC, said this membership was an indicator of quality of SBC’s business education. It also mirrors that the college has made great achievements in talent development and education reform. SBC will make continuous improvements to increase brand equity both at home and abroad.
The AACSB membership reflects that the overall quality and development prospects of SBC have been fully recognized by international peers and professional institutions. It is a milestone in history, a big progress in new business construction, and an important symbol of the college to become a world-class business school. SBC will make further efforts in promoting education, scientific research, social services, international cooperation and exchange to make full preparations for AACSB Accreditation in the future.
