Partnerships: A Visit to USST by Sanda Univeristy

On March 4th, the delegation led by President Chen Yiyi, Vice President Lou Binchao of Sanda University paid a visit to USST. USST President and Vice President met them and they reached an agreement in joint cultivation of master’s students.

Ding extended welcome to Sanda University, and introduced basic conditions about historical origin, disciplinary strength, high-level school construction. He expressed that both sides hinge on their strengths, take measures to integrate resources inside and outside campus, promote collaboration and win-win result in a multi-dimensional, pragmatic and effective way.
Chen introduced in brief the development of USST such as historical origin, and faculty team. He hoped that through the platform, they can cultivate more high-level financial talents, deepen the collaboration in discipline construction and scientific research. Zhao Laijun, Dean of Business School, USST introduced the disciplines and joint cultivation of financial masters. Sheng Xiang, Dean of School of Business, introduced the plan of USST-Sanda’s joint cultivation and the preparatory work.
Afterwards both sides signed the cooperation agreement in joint cultivation of financial masters. The cooperation is intended to implement the spirit of the Conference on National Graduate Work, explore how to give full play of coordinative role of public and private schools, take measures to integrate high-quality running-school resources, altogether promoting students exchange between two schools and the joint cultivation of outstanding financial talents.
