Accomplishments Made By USST Students at 10th NCDA

Recently, the list of winners of the 10th Future Designer • National College Digital Art & Design (NCDA) Award was announced. The students from USST performed well and made stunning accomplishments, winning 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes and 2 Third Prizes in its national finals; USST students have won 12 First Prizes, 20 Second Prizes and 13 Third Prizes in Shanghai Division, which is the best accomplishments since our school participated in this competition.
The Future Designer• National College Digital Art &Design Award has been held for ten consecutive years, and was listed as one of National College Discipline Competitions by the Chinese Association of Higher Education in 2022
NCDA is a high-level and well-known event in the field of art and design. It is a professional event with extensive influence and active participation of college students. It is also an important platform for college students to participate in design innovation activities. This year, NCDA has twenty nine competition divisions in china with a total of 1513 colleges and universities submitting 164316 projects. Among the participating universities, 39 of them are first tier universities, making the competition extremely fierce.
In spite of the Covid epidemic, under the careful guidance of the instructors, the students overcame its adverse effects, worked hard, actively prepared for the competition, and made every effort to solve design problems with their knowledge. They tried to design their project to serve the public, and to demonstrate the talents and trailblazing spirit of the young generation.
College of Communication and Art Design (CCAD) will continue to hold fast to the principle of interdisciplinary cooperation, integration of learning and practice, and partnership between teachers and students. CCAD will use the competitions as platforms to enhance the comprehensive professional quality of the faculty and students, and to cultivate high-level design talents who features international vision, and innovation abilities.
