Physics Science Enters among Top 1% in ESI

In July of 2023, the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) shows that for the first time the discipline of Physics enters among globally top 1% in ESI, becoming the seventh discipline to do so from USST. It’s estimated that the discipline of Physics in 60 universities and 14 research institutes enters among globally top 1% in ESI.
In this issue, Engineering Science of USST ranks 272nd out of 2242 research institutes whose engineering science cited papers enters among top 1% (1.2‰). Materials science of USST ranks 403rd out of 1289 research institutes whose materials science cited papers enters among top 1% (3‰). Chemical science of USST ranks 693rd out of 1781 research institutes whose chemical science also enters among top 1% (4‰). Computer science of USST ranks 422nd out of 721 research institutes whose computer science also enters among top 1% . Environment/Ecology Science of USST ranks 1239th out of 1747 research institutes whose environment/biology science also enters among top 1%. Agricultural Science of USST ranks 921st out of 1154 research institutes whose agricultural science also enters among top 1%. Physics of USST ranks 921th out of 871 research institutes whose physics also enters among top 1%.
