USST invited to 2023 China Industrial Transfer and Development Matchmaking Activity

On September 3rd, 2023 China Industrial Transfer and Development Matchmaking Event (Yunnan) with the theme "regional coordination, open development, and win-win future" opened at the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center in Kunming. Jin Zhuanglong, Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a speech on video. Wang Yubo, Governor of Yunnan, Xu Xiaolan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Ding Xiaodong, President of our school, attended the event. At the opening ceremony, our school signed a cooperation agreement with Baoshan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Before the opening ceremony, our school held discussions with Baoshan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and Baoshan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the construction of an industry education consortium. In the future, two schools will carry out collaborations on building a shared scientific research team and achievements, developing medical and food products of the same origin, and building a shared consortium base, focusing on talent cultivation, curriculum construction, textbook development, teacher training, and technical consulting.
At the industry-university-research matchmaking meeting, on behalf of USST, Professor Liu Baolin, the dean of USST's Science and Technology Development Research Institute, introduce the school to various cities, prefectures, committees, bureaus as well as enterprises in Yunnan Province. He also introduced the school's representative scientific and technological achievements considering the actual development of Yunnan's industry. Professor Liu Baolin and Professor Zhang Pengju have signed cooperation agreements with Yunnan Maoduoli Group and a research institute of China Shipbuilding Group on behalf of the school.
