Elite Engineering School Established at USST

The Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stresses that the “Elite Engineering Talent”makes a difference in national strategic talents. How to achieve effective linkage of educational, talents, industrial and innovation chains? How to achieve deep integration of engineering technological talents and engineering practice. On September 14th, the building ceremony of Elite Engineering School was held at USST.
The Elite Engineering School was started by USST, Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center and other presidential units, as well as universities, enterprises, research institutes, focused on faculties, students, and research and development team, aiming to construct an all-factor and all-chain cultivation system of elite engineers.
Centering on industrial fields such as biomedicine, electronic information, energy environmental protection, artificial intelligence, the “Elite Engineer School” builds 5 industry-education integration communities, in charge of the whole-process management like core curriculum building, double totorial team construction, project-based joint cultivation, elite engineer cultivation.
