USST and SSPU Signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement

On April 2nd, the USST delegation led by President Ding Xiaodong and Vice President Sheng Chun went to Shanghai Polytechnic University for an exchange and communication. President Xie Huaqing, Vice President Xu Yufang from Shanghai Polytechnic University warmly welcomed and had a meeting with USST delegation.
At the meeting, witnessed by Ding Xiaodong and Xie Huaqing, Sheng Chun and Xu Yufang signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement.
Xie Huaqing introduced the development history, educational features, discipline construction, talent cultivation, and integration of industry and education of Shanghai Polytechnic University. He said that two universities have made close exchanges. As a high-level local university in Shanghai, USST has achieved fruitful results in discipline construction, scientific research, and talent cultivation. Both sides sign a cooperation framework agreement to carry out discipline sharing and joint training for doctoral students, which will greatly promote the high-quality development of Shanghai Polytechnic University.
Ding Xiaodong called back the profound cooperation history and foundation. He said that in the middle of March, President Xie Huaqing led a team to USST. Both two sides carried out in-depth exchanges in disciplinary construction, doctoral program construction and application. This signing will further promote close cooperation between the two universities. In the future, both sides will carry out scientific research cooperation and collaborative disciplinary, implement joint doctoral training, contributing more to the socio-economic development of Shanghai.
Before the signing ceremony, USST delegation paid a visit to Exhibition Hall of Bao Qifan’s Innovation Journey.
