On March 10, Prof. Jan Lüking, Head of Civil Engineering Program, Jan Osten, Head of the German side of the Sino-German Cooperation Program, and Prof. Cai Ding form the Civil Engineering Program of the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck visited our university. Chen Qi, Director of the International Affairs Office, Yang Huinan (presiding over the administration), Vice Dean of the Sino-German College, and Wang Lihui, Vice Dean of the School of Environment and Architecture attended the meeting.
First of all, Chen Qi warmly welcomed the visit of Prof. Jan Lüking and his delegation, and introduced the history, the characteristics of the disciplines and the Chinese-foreign cooperative education programs in USST. Prof. Jan Lüking expressed his gratitude to our university for its warm reception, and introduced in detail the development history, the characteristics of the civil engineering specialty and the current situation of the Chinese-foreign cooperative education programs of the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck in Germany, and expressed the hope that the establishment of an inter-university cooperation relationship could promote the common development in student exchange, teacher exchange and scientific research cooperation. Afterwards, Yang Huinan and Wang Lihui also introduced the international cooperation situation of their respective colleges. Both sides discussed in detail about the cooperation areas such as student exchange and joint cultivation in civil engineering majors, and reached a consensus on cooperation.
