USST Won 10 Prizes in 2024 Shanghai Science and Technology Conference

On the morning of August 26th, the 2024 Shanghai Science and Technology Conference and Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in the central hall of the Shanghai Exhibition Center. The conference has ushered in a shining moment belonging to the Shanghai technology industry, paying tributes to outstanding workers who have driven Shanghai's urban innovation and economic development with wisdom and sweat. This year, a total of 206 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards were awarded, among which the "New-Generation Launched Vehicle Surface Special Protective Coating Technology and Application" led by President Zhu Xinyuan won the special prize of this year's Science and Technology Progress Award (originally in former unit). The project led by our school has won 1 first prize and 4 second prizes; Participated in the completion of projects and won 1 first prize and 4 second prizes. These award-winning achievements not only achieve breakthroughs in basic research and key technological fields, but also strongly promote high-level technological self-reliance and the construction of a modern industrial system, making substantial contributions to enhancing urban core competitiveness and implementing major national strategic needs.

In the following days, the school will closely dock and serve the construction of Shanghai's "Five Centers" and major national strategic needs, focus on the three leading industries, rely on the unique science and engineering disciplines of USST, strengthen organized scientific research and cross innovation, and continuously enhance the technology supply and talent support of the science and engineering university with distinctive features.
