From April 18th to 20th, the 7th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CITF) was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC) with the theme of: “Bringing together the innovative wisdom of global science and technology and composing the next chapter in technology transfer". USST selected 6 scientific and technological achievements to be presented at the exhibition in the fields of: photoelectric information & computer science, medical technology, ecological protection etc. Our two exhibits were: “High-Efficiency Aeration and Push-Flow Water Purification Equipment” based on microbial medium technology and "Smart Glasses" developed with grating waveguide transmission imaging technology. Both exhibits attracted attention of many industry experts, business leaders as well as the ordinary visitors.
After six years of development, the Shanghai International Technology Fair (SITF) has become an important platform for displaying international edge-cutting technologies, providing an access to linking professional innovation resources, and promoting technology exchange and cooperation. Since the establishment of the arenas for exhibits from universities in the second session of the SITF in 2014, USST has attended the fair for six consecutive years, demonstrating the innovations of our research teams, enhancing our social visibility and influence and also facilitating the transfer of our scientific and technological achievements into production.
