Miao Ke and Liu Xiangyu from the College of Communication and Art Design won German iF Award. Nearly 11000 art works from 72 countries and regions are involved in the competition.
Miao Ke won the award for product design. Miao Ke has been dedicated to the development and application of smart products. She led her team to design and develop a multi-scenario intelligent service robot CAPA.X for Cloudpeng, Zhejiang that can be used in different scenarios, providing location navigation, meals-taking, intelligent identification, disinfection, payment. Considering personal demands of different crowds, the function and experience of the product has been upgraded. From the perspective of product modularization and universality, the product's multi-scenario applicability and cross-scenario compatibility have been improved. At the same time, the architecture thinking method has enhanced the possibility of product serialization and ethnicity, and to a certain extent extended the flexibility and lifecycle of the product.
Liu Xiangyu won the award for conceptual design, in honor of his farsighted conceptual design and research project. Ratio Weighing Scale was designed by Wang Peng， supported by Liu Xiangyu. Considering the need to measure multiple types of raw materials in scenarios such as catering management, scientific experiments, and cooking and baking, and there is a certain proportional requirement between the materials. Therefore, it improves the traditional weighing by supporting the weighing of four types of raw materials on the same weighing surface and calculating their proportions. The design works out the failure to dynamically adjusting the proportions of various parts during multiple weighing, avoiding waste of raw materials, improving the rate of success in proportions, and saving users’ time.
