USST Won 8 Golden Awards in the 7th China College Students ‘Internet+’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shanghai

On June 28th, the final of 7th China International College Students ‘Internet+’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shanghai was held. 22 innovation and entrepreneurship programs from USST successfully reached Shanghai final, and finally totally 8 programs entered the finals and all won the golden awards.

Since the beginning of the competition in May, 35 Shanghai undergraduate schools have been attracted. In the final, 82 programs from 27 universities came to the final show online and shared 65 golden awards.
With the strong support of all school departments and colleges, totally 900 USST teams made up of more than 3800 students entered for the competition. After the experts’ review, centralized training and defense& performance and competition guidance, 22 programs were qualified to participate in the Shanghai finals.

Such a result lies in the unremitting efforts of the students, the delicate guidance of the supervisors and the contributions of the whole school. Regarding innovation and entrepreneurship education reform as a pivotal method to improve the quality of talent training, our school, with the moral education as the fundamental principal in talent cultivating, will continue to deeply step ahead the reform and innovation in talent training mode and its system and mechanism, and integrate innovation and entrepreneurship education into the whole process of talent cultivating and various stages of teaching in order to cultivate more people who can actively involve in the innovation and entrepreneurship cultures in the new era.
