Zhu Xu, a counselor of School of Health Sciences and Engineering of USST, is always considering how to help graduating students with their jobs. In early April, Zhu sent a text message to her neighbors in Zhangjiang Town, Pudong District, Shanghai: "Hello. Everyone! Now you are offered necessities by means of group purchase but I plan to promote USST students whose majors involve biomedical engineering, food and pharmaceutical engineering. If your companies prepare to attract new employees and find some positions suitable for these students, they may be luckily given a chance.

A few minutes after its release, Zhu Xu added 14 new friends on her wechat. These neighbors told her about the recruitment of their companies. One of them even invited Zhu to join the “Talents Pool for Life Science Research”. She communicated with each of them to get more employment details. As she posted recruitment to job hunters at USST, she recommended more than 40 professional and competent students to companies according to the specific requirements of the job after careful consideration.

A few days later, Fu Zirang, a student majoring in pharmaceutical engineering, got a chance of a job interview and finally successfully passed. "I feel lucky and excited to find a job despite the epidemic. Sincerely, I will integrate the care and help from society into my future work and spread warmth to other people." Fu Zirang said.

Finally, through this form of "group purchase", six USST graduates reached agreements with a few enterprises. They received job offers and would paved a new path in life.
