USST PhotoniX Won the First Impact Factor and Ranked 4th in JCR Q1 Optical Journals

On June 28th, the Clarivate Analytics released the Journal Citation Reports, JCR 2021. PhotoniX from Chinese Society for Optical Engineering won the first impact factor:19.818, reaching 4th among 101 optical journals in JCR Q1, 2021.

Since it started in March of 2020, PhotoniX has become a highly influential journal after peer review and open access. The journal was jointly published by Chinese Society for Optical Engineering, Tsinghua University，University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and Westlake University and printed by Springer Nature Corporation. USST Academician Zhuang Songlin assumed the honorary editor-in-cheif；USST Academician Gu Min and Qiu Min from Westlake University held the host of editor-in-cheif; Professor Sun Hongbo held the post of deputy editor-in-cheif. PhotoniX aims to present endeavors in promoting X-disciplinary research, latest progress of engineering applications, and breakthroughs in scientific discoveries, all enabled by photonics.

Up to now, PhotoniX has been storied in more than 20 famous databases such as SCIE、SCOPUS、DOAJ、ProQuest、CNKI、INSPEC、Dimensions and chosen into Journal Division of the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021.
