USST Holds the Opening Ceremony for Class of 2022

On September 18th, USST held its opening ceremony for class of 2022. Some leaders and department heads attended the ceremony. Incoming graduate students simultaneously attended the ceremony at the Mao ’s Statue, football field at No.1100 campus and sports ground at Fuxing Road campus. The ceremony was broadcasted live on USST’s wechat video, Tiktok and Bilibili.

At the opening ceremony, USST University President Ding Xiaodong delivered a speech and extended a warm welcome to all incoming graduate students on behalf of the University. On behalf of new comers, Jiang Xinying, Hou Runyu and Duan Yixuan addressed speeches. They promised to shoulder more responsibilities to pursue big dreams. On behalf of senior students, Wang Yehong, Zhang Yifan and Alberto Gallardi shared their life at USST and offered fresh students some beneficial advice. Professor Huang Beijia from School of Environment and Architecture, Professor Gu Zhengtian from College of Science, and Professor Shan Yanguang from Sino-British College, held expectations for new students to become better students with international vision and integrated wisdom.
