CSSC 2022 Organized by USST for Systems Science Development

From Nov 12 to 13, the 6th Conference on Systems Science of China（CSSC 2022） was held at Shanghai. The conference was hosted by Shanghai Academy of Systems Science, Steering Committee of Systems Science Conference of China, organized by University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and co-established by Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science Chinese Academy of Sciences, School of Systems Science, BNU, National University of Defense Technology, Shanghai Research Institute for Intelligent Autonomous Systems, Tongji University, Systems Engineering Society of China, Technical Committee on Control Society, Chinese Association of Automation. Academician Guo Lei, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Ding Xiaodong, USST, were both appointed as president of the conference.
With a slogan “establish systematics, advance the discipline of systems science", CSSC circles around system methodology, evolutional theory of systems, systematic epistemology, control theory of systems, systems engineering and other disciplines, providing an interdisciplinary and high-level platform for scholars at home and abroad to communicative with each other. The conference attracts over 2000 experts from 122 universities and other research institutes to take part in the meeting online and offline. The opening ceremony was presided over by Gu Chunhua, deputy secretary of CPC Committee, USST.
On behalf of the organizer, President Ding Xiaodong . He first extended warm welcome to over 2000 participant experts, scholars and graduates, and especially thanked 4 academicians and 8 experts in the panel discussion. He briefly introduced the outline of USST and achievements in the disciplinary development. He pointed out that the discipline of systems science has been one of the disciplines driven by the construction of Shanghai high-level universities. USST would encourage the construction and development of the discipline of systems science, involve more young scholars in the research of systems science and develop more outstanding talents for systems science.
As the organizers of the 7th CSSC, Chongqing Jiaotong University and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications introduced the preparation of the next conference. Chongqing Jiaotong University welcomes all experts and scholars to get together in Chong Qing, which is known as “Mountain City”.
