Prof. Dionisio Zaldivar Silva, Executive Vice President of University of Havana, Cuba Visited Our University

On December 8, Prof. Dionisio Zaldivar Silva, Executive Vice President of the University of Havana, Cuba, visited our university. Vice President Zhang Hua hosted the meeting, and Ma Xiaoting，Director of International Affairs Office and Deputy Director Xu Lin, Liu Qin，Dean of the College of Foreign Languages, Vice Dean Han Geling and Zhang Le attended the meeting.
Zhang Hua firstly extended a warm welcome to Silva's visit and introduced the history and development status of USST. He said that the fruitful cooperation between the two universities over the past two years is in line with the spirit of extensive exchanges and cooperation between China and Cuba in various fields, including higher education, and has laid a solid foundation for the two universities to continue to explore other possibilities of cooperation.
Silva extended his sincere greetings and thanks to the leadership of USST. He highlighted the development of the language and humanities majors of the University of Havana and expressed his high regard for the cooperation with USST and his hope that this visit would further implement the relevant cooperation between the two universities.
