USST Sees the 7th consecutive year among Top 100 in China College Students Discipline Competitions

On March 22th, China Association of Higher Education released 2022 Analysis Report on College Students Competitions. USST won 793 prizes, and scored 71.11, ranking 77th at a national level, 6th among universities in Shanghai.
In 2022, Undergraduates from USST won 1642 prizes at ministerial level or above in the National Discipline Competition for College Students, which increased by 2 %, including more than 90 national first prizes, more than 240 ministerial first prizes. At the final of the 8th China College Students' 'Internet+' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, USST won 1 golden award, 2 silver awards, 4 bronze awards, ranking third among Shanghai universities. This is the greatest results that USST has ever made. USST also made great Achievements in Group Programming Ladder Tournament, “Blue Bridge Cup” National Software and Information Technology Professional Talents Competition, Future Designer-National College Digital Art& Design Awards, National College Students Advertising Art Competition, National College Business Elite Challenge Competition (International Business), and National College Students Advanced Mapping Technology and Product Information Modelling Innovation Competition. 

USST fully implements the Educational Policy of CPC, carries out the fundamental task of “fostering civic virtue and cultivating talents”, takes comprehensively improving the quality of talent cultivation as the core, and gives full play to the role of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training in talent cultivation. Based on the full coverage of discipline competitions and innovation projects, USST has constructed the college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training system, comprehensively promoted students' innovation spirit, entrepreneurship consciousness, and innovation and entrepreneurship capability.
