Face of “ High-Flying” Building unveiled

On April 6th, the opening ceremony of “High-flying” Building, which was funded by Mr.Tang Lei and his wife, who both majored in International trade and graduated from  USST in 2002, was held at No.334 Jungong Road Campus.
Cai Yonglian, vice president of USST, extended warm welcome and great thanks to Mr. Tang Lei and his wife for their supports with the development of USST. The construction and development of USST cannot escape from alumni’s help   in many ways and social fame of the school should be maintained by performance of alumni. She pointed out that seizing the of the building naming ceremony as a chance, USST should shape more models and further promote the culture of gratitude and love for the school. She hoped that all teachers and students should be more hardworking and promising in “High-flying” Building.  
Mr. Tang Lei was thankful for USST and felt proud of high-quality development of USST. He affectionately recalled the school life when he studied at USST. He pointed out that warmth and care from USST continue to inspire the alumni. He felt it honored to name the building and encouraged the younger generation of USST-ers to have dreams, take responsibility and forge ahead in the new era, contributing more to the development of USST.
At the ceremony, witnessed by guests and faculty and student representatives, Sheng Chun, vice president of USST, Tang Lei and his wife together unveiled the nameplate of “High-flying” Building. Ye Lei, minister of Publication Department presented the donation certificate and letter of thanks to Tang Lei and his wife. On behalf of USST, offered by Tang Lei the letter written by Liu Zhan’en himself, Kong Na, Director of Archives was then awarded the certificate to them.
