USST and Orient International Group Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On Sep 6th, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between USST and Orient International Group was held at Hongqiao Pinhui. Present at the ceremony were Wang Lingyu, Secretary of Party Committee of USST, Ding Xiaodong, President of USST, and Vice President Cai Yonglian, Tong Jisheng, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Orient International Group, ji Shengjun, President of Orient International Group, and Vice President Zheng Feng. The signing ceremony was presided over by Wang Jia, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Orient International Group.
On behalf of both sides, Ding Xiaodong and Ji Shengjun signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Zhang Xuedian, Dean of    Interdisciplinary Innovation Research Institute, and Zhang Lu, General Manager of Orient International Group delivered speeches.
Wang Lingyu delivered a speech. As an applied-oriented University, With the high attention to the industry-learning-research cooperation and technological achievements transfer, USST adhere to open education, integrate theoretical research with scientific practice, and make research results that meet the country’s industrial needs. The contact signing of with Oriental International Group is based on the strategic planning and deployment of the country and Shanghai city, as well as the complementary practical foundation and needs of both schools and enterprises. It is hoped to improve students' ability to solve practical problems, establish a talent practice and transportation base, and contribute to promoting high-quality development in Shanghai through cooperation with Oriental International Group.
Tong Jisheng briefly introduced the situation and advantageous field of Ocean International Group. He noted that in the future, Orient International Group could carry out cooperation with USST in medical-engineering, innovation appliance imports and spatial extension, in hopes of condensing disciplinary strength in medical instrument, achieving dual boost of supply chain, applied research and scenario. Both sides would promote short and long-term cooperation in project development, talents cultivation and industry-learning-research exchange, striving to build a cooperative model for local universities and enterprises.
Before the ceremony, school leaders and the entourage together with Orient International Group leaders paid a visit to Hongqiao Pinhui.
