President of the Board of International University of Kyrgyzstan Academic Consortium Visited Our University

On the afternoon of November 23, Asylbek Aidaraliev, President of the Board of International University of Kyrgyzstan Academic Consortium, visited our university, accompanied by relevant personnel from the Belt and Road Alliance for Medical Devices Innovation and Application, and USST presidnet Ding Xiaodong met with the guests in Conference Room 201 of Yates Hall. Relevant personnel from the Office of the Party Committee (President), International Affairs Office and School of Health Sciences and Engineering attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Vice President Cai Yonglian.
On behalf of USST, Ding Xiaodong welcomed Aidaraliev and his delegation, and in his speech, he introduced the university's talent cultivation, disciplinary characteristics, international exchanges and other aspects, and introduced in detail that since the national "One Belt, One Road" initiative was put forward, the university has been solidly pushing forward the cooperation among education, healthcare and industry. In 2020, the university initiated the establishment of the "Belt and Road" Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance, which has been recognized by domestic and foreign partners in the field of medical devices by strengthening cooperation between universities and industries and actively promoting in-depth exchanges among medical device innovation bodies. He hoped that in the future, all parties can actively explore the integration of advantages, in-depth cooperation, to build and share the medical device community of destiny, and to lead the creation of a viable medical device industry-university-research innovation and application eco-system.
Academician Aidaraliev expressed his gratitude for the hospitality of USST, and said that China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative has provided valuable policy support for China and Kyrgyzstan to communicate with each other. International University of Kyrgyzstan Academic Consortium is the vice chairman of the "Belt and Road" Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance, and has extensive and close ties with many universities and research institutions around the world, and currently has educational cooperation in Shenyang, Hainan and Xi'an within China. He believes that this exchange will lay a solid foundation for the subsequent cooperation in talent cultivation and scientific research between the two sides.
During the meeting, the two sides signed an agreement on exchanges and talent cultivation in the field of medical science & technology and devices, and discussed the exploration of the construction of the "China-Eurasia Medical Science and Technology and Device Innovation Center" to promote the development of medical device innovation and application in the countries along the "Belt and Road", and to become a positive force in the development of global health care and health. Through the high-quality construction of "Belt and Road", we will contribute to the mission of building a closer human community.
