USST Holds 13th Taiwan Youth Training Camp and 2024 Youth Training Camp

On July 2nd, the opening ceremony of the 13th Taiwan Youth Training Camp and 2024 Youth Training Camp, jointly organized by the China Vocational Education Association, China Vocational Education Association, Shanghai, China Vocational Education Society, Hong Kong, Macau Foundation, and Taiwan Network for Outstanding Youth Exchange, was held at the Music Hall of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.

Xie Dong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, declared the opening of the 13th Taiwan Youth Training Camp and 2024 Youth Training Camp. This is the 12th session of the training camp organized by China Vocational Education Association, Shanghai for young people from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan since 2016. College of Hujiang was actively involved in the entire process of this training camp, with the opening and closing ceremonies held at our school.

This training camp brought together 32 teachers and students from 23 universities in Taiwan, 11 teachers and students from 3 universities in Hong Kong, 34 teachers and students from 5 universities in Macau, and 8 volunteers from USST. A total of 77 campers participated in the 13th Taiwan Youth Training Camp and 2024 Youth Training Camp. The one-week seminar will visit Internet enterprises, the Shanghai History Museum, and Joint Savings Bank Warehouse, climb to the top of the Shanghai center, observe modern urban grassroots management services, walk through the Duolun Road Cultural Celebrity Street, Yangpu Waterfront Belt and other distinctive venues so that students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can feel the soft power of Shanghai's urban culture, science and technology, economic development, profound historical heritage, multicultural charm, deepen understanding of Chinese cultures, enhance national identity and pride, and enhance mutual friendship and mutual trust.
